Jay Seegert

B.S. Physics, B.S.E. Engineering Technology

Jay Seegret is the Co-Founder and Principal Lecturer for the Creation Education Center (CECwisc.com) and the author of “Let There Be Light” (sub-title: “Making Sense of the Creation/Evolution Controversy”).  He has conducted over one thousand lectures in 18 different states.

Jay has degrees in both Physics (University of Wisconsin-Whitewater) and Engineering Technology (John Brown University, Arkansas).  He has been speaking on Creation/Evolution and the Authority of Scripture for over 25 years, as well as many other apologetic topics.

In 2007 Jay co-founded the Creation Education Center and has served as President and Principal Lecturer for the past 4 years.  He formerly served as President of the http://www.cssmwi.org/ for 3 years, and was offered a fulltime position as a national speaker with Answers in Genesis (directed by Ken Ham), but after much prayer turned it down because of the extensive amount of time he would be away from his family.  Jay has also served as an adjunct national speaker for Creation Ministries Internations, and recently accepted an invitation to be a speaker for a newly formed organization called, “The Third Rail”, which provides broadcast interviews with various experts to Christian radio stations across the country.  Jay was awarded the prestigious “Faithful Servant Award” by the Christian Stewardship Foundation which included a grant to the Creation Education Center.
