Biography

Art Chadwick was born in California where he received his undergraduate education at San Diego State University and La Sierra College, 1965. He earned his Ph.D. from University of Miami in 1969, followed by additional work in Geology at University of California. He was Visiting Professor of Geology and Geophysics at University of Oklahoma prior to taking his present position.
Dr. Chadwick became a Christian when he was in college at San Diego State University. He married his wife in 1964 and they have two adult children. He became interested in Creation while he was at La Sierra College. When he completed his doctorate, he decided he needed training in geology and went back to school to train as a geologist. More recently, Dr. Chadwick has been involved in a well known research project on dinosaurs in Wyoming. He has co-authored two books with Dr. Leonard Brand. Dr. Chadwick is a co-founder of the Earth History Research Center, a global consortium of research scientists focused on issues of origins. He currently serves as Director of the Center.
