Biography
Royal Truman joined the chemical multinational BASF in 1984 in the USA and was transferred to Germany in 1988 until retirement in 2024. He served in multiple senior technical and managerial roles in areas including: chemical research, computer science, chemical engineering & manufacturing, finance & controlling, strategic planning, training, and competitor & market analysis. These roles including leading multimillion-dollar international projects.
BASF funded multiple advanced further education measures such as a 2-year program in bioinformatics at the University of Mannheim and many advanced professional certifications including: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Project Manager Professional (PMP), Information Security Management System (ISMS), and Azure Fundamentals.
Having lived most his life outside the USA, Dr. Truman has mastered English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and German.
Dr. Truman grew up in a missionary home in South America (Chile, Argentina, Uruguay) where he came to a personal relationship with the Lord at the age of 7. He was heavily involved in personal evangelism his whole life and deeply committed to Young Earth Creation science. He publishes extensively in YEC journals and regularly attends and makes presentations at conferences throughout the USA and Europe.
