Duane Caldwell’s interest in science and flying initially led him to pursue a career in Aviation. Armed with a private pilot’s license before graduating high school, he went off to Parks College, a school specializing in Aviation for further training. After graduating and finding the typical road to an Airline job through the military was not available, he flight instructed for a brief time while considering other options. It was shortly after this period that he became a Christian. With his new found love of God and scripture, Duane found himself at Trinity Divinity School, and then in the pastoral ministry on Long Island in New York. When God called him back to his roots in Illinois, He did so placing a passion in Duane to defend the truth of the Gospel. He just needed a tool to do so. When software to create Web Logs – “Blogs” came out, Duane knew this was a tool that could be used for the kingdom. After spending years in research, his site, “Rational Faith” was created. In an effort to reach people in other, more personal ways, Duane added Museum Tours, and Creation Talks through Midwest Creation Fellowship.
