Gordon Craig is the founder of PaleoGenesis Research Co. He has been using his background in metrology and test equipment design to study the formation of fossils and coal in his laboratory. Current research involves producing coal in the lab to investigate the temperatures and depths of burial required to produce coal with the same chemical as well as the same physical properties as natural coal being mined today. See his website here.
Gordon has degrees in Science and Technology from Olivet Nazarene University and Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He has worked in aircraft engine testing, naval weapons test equipment design, and pharmaceutical metrology and process development before retiring in December of 2017. Gordon now has his own machine shop, designing and producing the test equipment used in his research and in the classroom.
